WHAT YOU ARE HOLDING

A hand-blown glass vessel inspired by surviving medieval forms. Small variations in colour, shape and surface are part of its handmade character and make every piece unique.

AT THE MEDIEVAL TABLE

Glass vessels were valued possessions at the medieval table. Depending on their form, they held wine, ale or water, or were used to pour and serve drinks during a meal.

HOW IT IS MADE

The glass is shaped by hand using traditional glassblowing methods and forms inspired by medieval examples. Bubbles, tool marks and slight differences between pieces are natural traces of the making process.
